I would like to change the gross laxity of Barnet Planning Council! Especially at the island end. Our formerly elegant Drive is now a hotch potch of different styles, colours and so called ‘architecture’ and has totally lost its beauty and uniformity, unlike the Hampstead Garden Suburb. It is sadly too late for us as we have lost outlook, air and sunshine, especially at the back of our garden, where on one side, we are now looking onto huge ‘army barracks’ with metal roofs and on the other side a 16ft brick wall. Quite incredible. Neighbours do not matter anymore. Also the majority of front gardens are now garage forecourts (NW2 2ED)
